Hi~ I'm Tao Liang.

​       I am doing my postdoc in School of Zoology, Tel Aviv University supervised by prof. Shai Meiri and prof. Uri Roll (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev) since 2024/02 to date. I am interested in macro-ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles, especially in the evolution of morphological traits and phylogeny. 
​    Together with colleagues, we maintain the Reptile Ecological datebase of China, which we founded in 2020. We focus on the life-history triats collecting and sharing across Chinese reptiles(please click here for more details).

           Previously, I was in  Xinjiang Agricultural University under the guidance of the professor Lei Shi since 2013-2019. During this period, I studied sexual size dimorphism and reproduction of two  sympatric lizards (Phrynocephalus helioscopus &  Eremias arguta) in arid zone.
         It was an amazing journey which I have enjoyed from start to finish in Xinjiang!!
